Graces is the brainchild of Penrith-born songwriter Stephen Harrison. Fresh from sharing stages with Feeder, The Sherlocks and The Amazons, the band sold out their first headline show in their adoptive home city of Sheffield. After working with producer Phil Gornell (Bring Me The Horizon, All Time Low) on a series of well-received singles, Graces pricked the ears of the mainstream music press including BBC Introducing, Clash Magazine and Already Heard with their angst-driven cinematic indie pop.
Escaping the rural landscapes of their hometown in the Lake District, the band moved to Sheffield less than a year ago with wide eyes and big ambitions. Combining ambient soundscapes, distorted guitars and recognisable pop sensibilities, Harrison documents the volatility of growing up, finds the dirt and celebrates it. The band, who record and produce all their music themselves, are destined to make an impact in 2017 with their angst-ridden and cinematic songwriting.
