After last year’s big birthday bash we are back for an 11th year in the beautiful Lake District and we are SO excited to announce this year’s huge headliners!

DRUMROLL please….

We are feeling supersonic to announce that one of Manchester’s finest muso’s Noel Gallagher will be bringing his swag and festival-ready anthems to the fields with his High Flying Birds.

There is also a rumour mill going round that chart-topping drum and bass kings Rudimental will be bringing their party sets to Kendal Calling, and we thrilled to be able say these rumours are 100% true!

Madness you say! Well this year we are going BIG and what bigger way then to invite London legends Madness to bring their hit laden sets to the rolling hills of the Lake District. Celebrating 40 years since their formation, we can’t wait for these showmen to blast out tunes such as ‘Our House’, ‘Baggy Trousers’ and ‘One Step Beyond’. We prepared to have your singing voice at the ready!

Crashin’ In on their triumphant return a year ago with their landmark album ‘Modern Nature’, the Charlatans will be headlining the main stage on Thursday with their huge hits, plus Tim Burgess will be popping up over the weekend to deliver dj sets, mayhem and all manner of spontaneous happenings as the Tim Peaks Diner – a firm festival favourite – celebrates it’s 5th year at Kendal Calling..

Joining the headliners are Indie Rock sensation Catfish and the Bottlemen, quirky indie quartet Everything Everything, gritty three-piece Band Of Skulls, incendiary Swedish rock and rollers The Hives, Rock quartet The Darkness, post-punk Indie New Yorkers We Are Scientists, the smoky blues of Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and filling the now customary hip hop legends slot the mighty Sugarhill Gang.

Can we get a rewind as over on the dance stage will be none other than returning man of the moment Craig David, living legend David Rodigan MBE and Radio 1 and XOYO resident Toddla T – just to name a few!

It is certainly shaping up to be a wonderful weekend in the fields! Keep your eyes peeled on our website, Twitter and Facebook pages as we’ll be announcing more acts in the coming weeks – exciting!
