Making our fields greener with Energy Revolution!

Climate change is an issue that The KC Team take seriously when it comes to organising our event, which is why we are a founding member of Energy Revolution.

Last year we teamed up with Energy Revolution once again, in order to help keep our fields greener!

Audience travel makes up around 70% of a festival’s carbon footprint. Energy Revolution looks to account for millions of miles of travel, and turn a problem into a solution – renewable energy is the best chance we have to reduce global emissions to safe levels. 100% of the donations go directly towards producing clean and renewable energy forever, replacing dirty fossil fuels with wind and solar power.

In order to do that we asked you, our favourite festival goers, for some donations. Together we raised a massive £1,590 which will turn 102,996 miles of travel to Kendal Calling into clean renewable energy. That’s 31,800 kg of CO2e that you’ll be balancing, helping to replace fossil fuels and create a brighter, better future for all of us.

We wanted to share the fantastic news and also say a massive THANK YOU to you all for helping to tackle this problem.

See you in the (now greener) fields!
