NEWSFLASH: CAMP EARLY WITH THE FREAKEASY

Here at the festival workshop we're proud to announce a first for KC - the addition of Thursday night camping! Grab a ticket and grab the chance to wake up bright and early (ahem) on the Friday with no traveling to look forward to - sounds a treat, right?

It gets better - for the Thursday night we're opening a section of the arena and we've got the Freakeasy cartel popping in to entertain and delight until the wee hours..

Freakeasy is a pan-dimensional speakeasy, somewhere between Rick’s Bar and the Restaurant at The End of
the Universe.  Containing the sights, sounds, thrills and spills of the distant past and the near future it’s the
place to party on the edge and embrace the unknown. Featuring brand new acts and some established favourites from the circus circuit the Freakeasy combines the sounds of swing with the produce of the rave generation. 

Alongside a fantastic lineup of bands the Freakeasy brings a cavalcade of circus and sideshow performers to complete a multi-medium feast for the senses as well as the feet...  witness sword-swallowing, angle grinding and hoop twirling, fire- laced spectacular to start the night off with a bang!
