FREAK is 18 year old Connar Ridd from Essex. Frustrated by his life & job, working in his local co-op, FREAK locked himself away in his bedroom in January and emerged with his debut EP ‘What Happened?’. The EP that he wrote, played, recorded, mixed and mastered himself gained immediate attention with plays from Radio X, Radio 1 & Beats1 and later featured on Apple Music’s “Best of the Week” & NME’s “New Music of the Day”.

FREAK’s new track out “Nowhere” has followed in the same steps, once again gaining support from John Kennedy, Zane Lowe & Phil Taggart & has featured as Guardian’s “Band of the Week” & Apple Music’s “Best of the Week”.

FREAK has already been main support for Sundara Karma & US band Fidlar & has smashed V, Reading & Leeds Festivals. He is one of the most exciting new talents in indie-rock, a one-man phenomenon armed with a series of explosive rock songs that walk the tightrope between raucous Nirvana-style riffs and indelible pop melodies.
