MarthaGunn 1

In contrast to Brighton’s fuzzy scuzzy long haired rock bands come MarthaGunnnamed after local heroine the “priestess of the bath”. Centered around the voice of frontwoman Abi Woodman but fleshed out by a band who draw from the ’70s  songwriting craft of Fleetwood Mac or Eagles while keeping modern influences such as Tame Impala or Mystery Jets. Classic, but never retro, MarthaGunn delivered their first releases via Jazz Life records and Communion Singles Club in 2016.
