Plume combine influences from the worlds of electronic, jazz, hip-hop and experimental music to create a captivating sound. The live set was originally conceived to be a continuous piece of music akin to a DJ mix. However Plume now lies somewhere between dance music, immersive song writing and free improvisation.

Taking influence from John Martyn, Fatima, Steve Reich, Alice Coltrane and early Autechre, Plume’s sound is as unique as their influences. With a recently released debut EP recorded at John Ellis’ (Cinematic Orchestra) Limefield studio, 2017 is set to be a busy year for Plume.
