WEST PRINCES, named after the street where the band was formed, met whilst attending The Glasgow School of Art shortly before they graduated in 2015. After cutting their teeth playing live in Glasgow, the band released their debut single, ‘Wet Bark is a Slug’ on artist Jim Lambie’s voidoidARCHIVE imprint in 2017. The release; a split 7” alongside Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor and writer Matthias Wolfboy Connor, earned Single of the Week on BBC Radio Scotland and in the Scotsman on Sunday. Selected as Ones to Watch in 2018 by BBC Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway, the new year sees the addition of keyboard player Max Syed-Tollan (The Horse Whisperer) and new recordings with Catholic Action’s Chris McCrory. West Princes are set to release their second single; ‘Letenska Park’ in early Spring 2018.

West Princes are Jack Boutwood (Guitar, vocals), David Stobart (Bass, vocals), Thomas Woods (Drums, percussion, vocals), Edward Woods (Guitar).
