Immerse into Lost Eden 2018!

ELECTRON in Dark

We’re thrilled to announce our immersive arts and culture area Lost Eden, set in the depths of the stunning woodlands at Kendal Calling 2018! Weave your way through the woodlands and experience another world of awe-inspiring art installations, spectacular soundscapes and wonderful walkabout performances!

Prepare to be dazzled as Coalescence Collective takeover part of Lost Eden, landing their giant illuminated Helibug, two illuminated crashed jet engines and fiery spectacles into the woods! Bump into figures of the future as Elecktron and Are We Alien? by Artemis weave their way through Lost Eden, or get those creative juices flowing and discover the Illumaphonium and HALO, two interactive, multi sensory, music making installations. A vast cornucopia of curiosity awaits you!

As a brand new addition for 2018, the Red Stars beam into Lost Eden, bringing their super secret compound of treats and futuristic trickery to protect Kendal Calling from the dystopian takeover of OneCor and their threat of a future where creativity is illegal! Discover their Micro-Rave where they’ll be recruiting like-minded misfits, punks and rebels to join their movement or find the crashed OneCor satellite somewhere deep in the woodlands.

Calling all robots, aliens and cyborgs! We come together 2.10PM Saturday 28th July at Lowther Deer Park for the Kendal Calling parade to go Into the Future! Expect an other-worldy procession of curious characters by carnival experts Global Grooves. Blending carnival arts, thumping percussion and ethereal beings, our annual shimmy-shake across the fields will be a spectacle to behold.

Combining two futures, dress to beam into a utopia of flora and fauna or voyage towards a dystopian future of robot overlords. For the saviour of our fields, we need you. Which side will you choose?
