Lost Eden

We are opening the door to the weird and wonderful at Kendal Calling, continuing to explore the co-existent relationship between nature and metropolis. In 2018 we are offering a large scale installation co-commission, with a focus on immersive installation art.

This is a unique opportunity to create and showcase an artwork that will not only bring the Lost Eden woodlands area of Kendal Calling festival to life, but will also be shown at an additional four festivals (Bluedot, Shambala, Lakes Alive and Arts by the Sea). The successful applicant will receive funding, as well as guidance and support from each festival.

Help transform Kendal Calling’s Lost Eden into an escapist utopia, and get your work seen across the country!

Please note that the commission is subject to a successful GFTA bid with the Arts Council England. A bid is currently in place.
